oak boardroom table and eight chairs removed from council chambers in the north east of england.
this very handsome set comprise of a large table with Y stretcher, green leather top with stud detail, bowed ends, standing on substantial turned legs, the chairs (two carvers and 6 chairs) with matching green leather seats and are of generous proportions.
these table and chairs really are very good quality, extremely solidly constructed and very very heavy, other than the odd minor nick to the leather top on the table and normal marks / scuffs commensurate with use, they are in very good, clean condition, a very versatile set which could be used in any office or indeed a home or hotel setting as they would also make interesting dining antique furniture.
