Oak Cased Platform School Wall Clock M.D.S.

This antique wall antique clock looks to date from the first half of the twentieth century, although it is older in style. Please note that it is missing its pendulum and so does require some repair work. It may have some replacement parts. We believe it to have a 30-hour key-wind movement, although the movement is boxed in and cannot be easily seen. No key is present. The clock face is marked 'M.D.S. Guaranteed English Make'. The clock has an oak case.
Condition: Overall this attractive clock does require some repair work. There is some scuffing and wear to the oak case as might be expected and some fading and discoloration. There is some scratching to the dial and some grubbiness. The movement is boxed in and cannot be easily seen, and the clock is missing its pendulum. It does however tick so with a replacement pendulum should work well. It may have some replacement parts.
The approx measurements are as follows:
40cm diameter (to maximums). Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
