Oak Panelled Single Pedestal Desk Early 1930s
A rather grand little oak desk surviving from the early 1930s and found in the top rooms of a surveyors office in London. Liking the tone of the oak and all those posh looking panels!
It’s not only handsome but very useful with decent dimensions to the top, 4 drawers to the right and a typing slide over the top of the drawers. We have carefully cleaned and polished the oak to enhance the grain and tone. We do have knocks, bumps and marks but nothing fresh. The drawers are running well with aged ink marks to the insides. It’s also panelled to the back so it could sit in a room rather than against a wall. All those panels make it a weighty little piece.

Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions
If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.
On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
