Fine quality example of the classic late 19th.c. pedestal desk by the acclaimed English cabinet makers James Winter of Soho, London c.1880. Top measuring 48″ x 28″, with a leather writing surface over three drawers. Raised on twin pedestals each with with three drawers of graduated depth. Solid oak drawer fronts with original brass handles and mahogany drawer linings. Solid oak sides and rear. Maker’s stamp either side of the lock to the centre drawer. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
