Oak Writing Table by Christopher Pratt of Bradford. A well made oak writing table/desk by the very well known maker Christopher Pratt and Sons. It has 2 draws with brass drop handles in a heavy oak frame with Gun barrel type turnings with cross stretcher. Very unusually has a small drop leaf at the back which is supported by an oak bracket fitted to the frame work. This unusual drop leaf may well have been ordered as a special requirement by a customer when it was made.It has a beautiful patina, and the makers label to the underside to one of the draws.
