After Sir Edwin Landseer (1803-1873
Painted with superb detail and dating to the late Victorian period
Islay, Tilco, a Macaw and two Lovebirds
Islay, a skye terrier was described by Queen Victoria as 'my faithful little companion, always with me and a great darling'.
Tilco, a Sussex spaniel had been given to the Queen by the Earl of Albermarle in 1838.
