Oil Painting The Gamekeepers Daughter & Setters
This is a fine Victorian painting on mahogany board depicting a gamekeepers daughter in a stable with three large hunting dogs, setters and a smaller hound at her feet. The painting dates from around 1870 and is very well executed in oils and has a great depth of colour. This is mounted in an attractive period gilt frame with deep inner slip that compliments the work. This is a good size measuring 72 cms by 62 cms overall, including the frame.
