Old Railway Travel posters - as recently found LNER London Underground Boston %%alt5%%
Recently unearthed (from less than perfect storage) these four prewar railway and London underground posters present an opportunity for someone, with the expertise, or desire, to carry out their restoration ....with what we consider to be a not unreasonable initial outlay.

The Tower of London - from an etching by Louis Whirter - 1930s

Westminster Abbey - St James Park Station - London Underground - from an etching by Louis Whirter - 1930s (February 1932)

Boston - LNER - Fred Taylor - printed by Vincent, Brookes, Day & Son - with integral hanging poles - 1920s

Fountains Abbey - LNER - Fred Taylor - printed by Adams Bros & Shardlow - one integral (lower) hanging pole remaining - 1920s

All four have varying degrees of degradation - the wear and tear of ages and latterly a mouse by the looks of things. These photos will give you an honest overview but for any additional photos of particular areas please enquire.
All items are covered by the Distance Selling Regulations which give buyers the right to cancel the purchase within seven days after receipt of the item for a full refund less RETURN transport costs
