Mid 20th.c. oriental trunk or steamer chest c.1950. In solid camphorwood, a fragrant timber traditionally used to protect the contents from attack by pests during storage. With large brass clasp and carry handles. Ideal height for use as a coffee table. Some repairs at the rear of the lid, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
