This is a delightful original watercolour of a lady picking apples on a windy day titled, ‘Apple picker’. The painting is watercolour and ink on paper and signed bottom right M. MacPherson.

May Gardiner Nee. MacPherson was an accomplished artist who exhibited between 1914 and 1919 including at the International Society and the Society for women artists.

The painting is highly evocative of the era and is offered in an attractive modern frame. There is a label to the reverse for Paul Liss of Liss Llewellyn Fine Arts.

This painting including frame measures 26cm x 18.5cm.

Condition

The condition is very good. There is some loss to paint on the top left corner of the frame. There is some dirt under the glass.

We have a 14 day return policy. We accept returns if item is not as described or generally you are not happy with the item, buyer to pay return postage. Full refund of purchase price on safe return minus postage costs. This is only available within 14 days of receipt of the item.
