A superb late 19th century French mahogany vitrine bureau. In the Louis XVth style and decorated with hand painted scenes in the manner of Vernis Martin and embellished with crisply cast ormolu mounts. The glazed top with a single opening door fitted with a concave pane of glass. It opens to access a shelved and lined interior. The bureau section is of bombe form with a fall that opens to reveal a fitted interior. This ornate and rare bureau bookcase is offered for sale in excellent condition , ready to go straight into the home.
