Outstanding Small Welsh Pine Box Settle c1840
A beautiful rare antique Welsh Cottage Pine Box Table Settle of gorgeous form and desirable small proportions c1840. Constructed from gorgeous pale antique pine with a strong and sturdy frame.
In exceptional original condition with lovely soft pale colour and grain. Having a very comfortable gently sloping back and perfect seat height. The seat opening into a box base offering superb storage.
The back simply folding down to create a fantastic scrub top kitchen dining table. Of perfect height and size for four people to use, the top being level and flat with no gaps to the boards and being lovely and clean and free from stains or damage.
A much sought after piece of Welsh country antique furniture this settle is both strong and stable and suitable for daily use. An exceptional settle in every aspect and ideal for the kitchen, living room, fireside or conservatory.
