A beautiful carved Shell Cameo Brooch depicting Four Doves drinking from a white Marble Bowl,It tests for 9ct Gold, has a very strong Pin and is in excellent condition.The image for a Cameo is very unusual, quite rare, and charming.Judging from the Pin attachment/hinge it typifies that of the 19th cent between 1850-1900,my guess is dates between 1880-1900. Dimensions are:-4.2cms x 3.5cms. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
