Painted 1824 Coffer
Dated 1824 this painted coffer is European, probably Bavarian.
The hinged top is above a base with a pair of octagonal panels painted with primitive flowers.
The interior is fitted with a candle box and is clean.
Nice chunky original key and metal handles.
Bit of a split along the back.
DIMENSIONS: H: 53cm (21in) W: 119cm (47in) D: 61cm (24in At the moment, we are open in our warehouse by appointment and chance.
