A large colourful Carved Statue of the Hindu God Vishnu being Transported on the back of Garuda, an enormous mythical bird.
This is an old piece, the paint has 2 textures, a smooth shiny one for the light skin pigments and more muted detail on the feathers and stand
The statue is in acceptable condition, a few if the wing tips are chipped as you might expect and it is grimy with age
