A handsome pair of antique 19th century mahogany side chairs. Featuring reeded serpentine top rails, carved with a central floral motif above a carved and pierced back splat. With newly recovered drop-in seats above square legs united by cross stretchers. Solid and sturdy, in good original condition, the mahogany beautifully figured with good patina.

Good original condition. Solid and sturdy. An old mend to each side of the top rail to one of the chairs, visible from the back, reasonably solid (see photos). Wear and marks commensurate with age. Beautifully figured mahogany with good patina. Newly recovered.
