Superb pair of 19th.c. Gothic revival gilt frame mirrors c.1860. New 19″ square mirror plates within highly decorative carved and gilded solid walnut frames. Crisply carved and pierced frieze with scrolling foliage, grapes and pine cones to the top of each over beautifully carved fronts with pronounced architectural mouldings standing 6″ deep at the base. Excellent condition, retaining the original gilt paint work.
