This a pair of very large Chinese hardwood stands which would very much suit a pair of Canton Famille Rose or similar vases, of immense scale. The quality hardwood stands date from the md 19th century and they measure 36 cms in diameter and they are 30 cms high, so they would give a real presence to the right pair of vases. The stands have petal form friezes and are raised on reeded and scrolling square supports. There are some slight depletions to one or two of the feet (see pics).
These would probably suit vases which were perhaps a metre high or even bigger.
