A charming pair of antique 19th Century French balloon back chairs in beautifully aged and worn painted and gilt finish dating from circa 1870. With newly upholstered seats and padded backs they have moulded frames and stand on shaped cabriole legs. A really attractive pair of chairs, in Louis VX style, with beautiful lines, with channelling to the sides and seat rails and curvaceous cabriole legs. Ideal as dining chairs, bedroom or dressing table chairs.

Condition Report:
Solid and sturdy. Newly reupholstered. Lots of age and wear to the paint – it has been scraped off in places, giving a shabby chic feel.
