A handsome pair of antique regency mahogany chairs dating from circa 1820. These classic chairs feature reeded oblong top rails with flame figured veneers above a pierced and carved crossbar with central roundel flanked by inverted acanthus carved c-shaped supports. The front seat rail is reeded and they stand on reeded out-swept sabre legs to front and back. The drop-in seats have been recently recovered. Dating from the early 19th Century these are a very elegant pair of chairs, solid and sturdy with excellent colour and patina.

Good condition. Solid and sturdy. Newly recovered, clean fabric and horsehair upholstery in fair condition.
