Wonderful pair of antique Swedish Empire armchairs in satin birch, in good condition & fresh upholstered in a linen fabric. They have a great shape, with curved backs, scroll over arms & sabre legs. These chairs are also very comfortable & very stylish. I would date them to around the 1860-80's period, but it's hard to be accurate, because my knowledge of Swedish antique furniture isn't perfect. These armchairs have very generous proportions.
