A very decorative pair of antique Victorian Gothic chairs in lovely aged dark brown oak. They have elaborately carved back with carved and pierced centre panels and a carved back rails depicting vine leaves. The side supports are barley twist and topped with finials. They have been newly reupholstered in a matt dark brown leather.

Fairly solid (a little give). Old mends to the upright supports at the front and back which have been filled with wax. Other general wear and marks commensurate with age to the frames.
