Delightful little pair of Edwardian mahogany music cabinets c.1910. Originally intended for sheet music, but nowadays popular for filing and stationery, the drawer fronts fold down on a patented mechanism to allow easy access to the contents. Of unusual design with a serpentine sided tray top over an open shelf and five drawers. With inlaid serpentine drawer fronts each retaining their original Art Nouveau style copper handles. The Art Nouveau theme continues in the organic shape of the stiles and legs. Excellent quality with solid mahogany drawer linings, sides and back panels, with a makers badge from Globe Wernicke, London. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Internal drawer dimensions: width 15″, depth 11″, height 3¼”. Please contact us for more images, delivery and shipping quotes.
