A Superb Pair of Antique French Faience Wall Plates

Manufactured by Lille 1767 and dating to around the late 19th Century

Well-fashioned with flat bases and gently raised 'scalloped' rims.

Each plate is beautifully hand-painted in full, with absolutely charming genre type scenes and are further embellished with faux armorial crests, as shown.

Fully signed with the Lille 1767 motifs verso.

These lovely antique plates are of excellent quality and represent very good examples of their type and would make a sound addition to any Lille or French Faience ceramic collection.
