Lovely pair of mid 19th.c. French cherrywood benches c.1850. A true pair, 78″ in length, solid cherrywood throughout. Single piece 7¾” wide with rounded ends on tapering legs and ‘sledge’ feet. With a joining stretcher below the seat providing extra horizontal strength. Some old repairs to the legs, otherwise excellent condition and good mellow colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
