This is a fine quality vintage English pair of oak antique tables, in the style of 18th century period, with large proportions, featuring a drawer and pot-board ideal as lamp or bedside tables, in excellent original condition.

Description:
This is a fine quality vintage English pair of oak tables, in the style of 17th century period, featuring a drawer and pot-board ideal as lamp or bedside tables, in excellent original condition. The pair of lamp antique tables feature large proportions, measuring 76cm / 30” / 2ft 6” tall by 55.5cm / 21⅞” / 1ft 9⅞” wide, of square form. This design of English table would have originally been used in England from the mid-17th Century onwards and became popular in provincial / vernacular homes. The pair of oak side tables are constructed in the traditional manner with mortice and tenon pegged joints and features a moulded top above a single cushion front moulded drawer and bead-moulded frieze. The drawer front features a solid brass swan neck handle and is constructed with butt-joint drawer linings. The pair of oak tables are raised on ring turned legs, united at the base by a pot-board, with a raised moulded border. The pot board-frame also acts as stretchers between the legs, which terminate on block feet. The pair of lamp tables have been handmade using traditional mortise and tenon construction are very good quality.
The pair of oak tables boast a rich brown oak colour. They have a fantastic colour, depth and patination this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning they have received.

Nominal old use marks to the tops and leading edges, but nothing significant considering their age. The drawers are solid oak lined and retain their original brass swan neck handles. There are no breaks to the legs or frame. The pair of oak side tables are solid in joint and ready to be used.

We offer free delivery to mainland England, Wales, and Southern Scotland (anywhere south of Stirling). We do not offer free delivery to locations north of Stirling in Scotland, Northern Ireland, or any British Islands off the mainland for example, the Isle of Man, Isle of White and Channel Islands. Delivery times are usually 1-4 weeks depending on location we aim to deliver the majority of items within 2 weeks. All items are professionally packaged and fully insured in transit therefore, we can assure you, your items will be securely protected in transit and arrive safely with you.
Once you have purchased an item, we will contact you by email and/or telephone and provide you with a provisional delivery date, in order for you to confirm if it is suitable for you. Once you have confirmed you can accept delivery on the provisional delivery date, we will book the delivery in with our shippers and it then becomes a confirmed delivery date.
We will also provide you with our shippers' contact details, in case you need to contact the driver on the day of delivery. It's helpful if you can provide us with both the landline and mobile telephone number, in case the driver cannot reach you on one of the numbers on the day of delivery, they can contact you on your alternative number.
