Pair of 1940s Elm Captain carver chairs CC41 Utili
Good quality pair of Captain's or Carver chairs.
Solid Elm seat and back and Beech legs. One chair has Beech arms and the other has Elm arms.. Date from the 1940s
Very nice turned rails and shaped seat, good solid quality chairs. One chair is stamped to the rear of the seat with the CC stamp referring to the Utility Furniture produced in the 1940s. Also stamped to the back of the chair is the number F182 315 and SK, the makers initials. The other chair has the initials SK stamped to the rear.
Probably produced in High Wycombe.
In good condition, patina and signs of wear consistent with age.
