Pair of 1st Period Worcester Shell Dishes 1770

We have the real pleasure of being able to offer this lovely pair of 1st period Worcester shell shaped dessert dishes.
The dishes are both hand painted in polychrome colours with a central bouquet and four single peripheral flowers encompassed within a blue and gilt border. The bases of both dishes carry the open crescent Worcester mark circa 1770-1775.
The dishes are each approximately 7 & 7/8th inches (20cm) wide and are in an excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. However, there is some wear to the gilt around the edge of each piece.
