Pair of Antique French Giltwood Salon Chairs
A beautiful pair of antique French gilt wood salon chairs. They were made in France in the classic Louis XV style, they date from around the 1920’s.
The quality is superb, they have gorgeous carving and are a lovely size. They are perfect for use as bedroom chairs, hall chairs or in various settings around the home.
The condition is very good for their age, we have had them re-upholstered in cream cotton fabric. The frames just have some surface wear and patina commensurate for age.
Width – 24 inches , 60 cm
Depth – 25 inches , 60 cm
Height – 37 inches , 94 cm
