Good quality pair of bow fronted bedside chests in yew wood with cross banding on the tops & drawer fronts. The top drawers have a lock & I've just noticed that one of those drawers is in the wrong place. These chests have bracket feet & the drawers have the original brass handle. The figuring of the yew wood is very striking. They are in good condition & I would date them to around the 1930-50's period.
