Pair of Antique Leather Wing Back Armchairs
Stunning pair of antique Chippendale style deep buttoned leather wing armchairs on mahogany legs dating from around the 1910-20’s period. The leather is original & in great condition. The colour of the leather is wonderful & full of character. They are also very comfortable & just invite you to sit on them. These armchairs have generous large proportions, with wide seats & backs. They are deep buttoned all over & the leather is hand tacked onto the frames. The high backs are well shaped as are wings. They are sturdy & extremely high quality. The mahogany legs & stretchers are very bold too. They must be one of the nicest pairs of wing armchairs I’ve come accross. I particularly like the naturally aged colour & finish of the leather, which is a kind of champagne colour.
