Large comfortable pair of antique French armchairs with mahogany frames, upholstered in brown leather. The leather is original & has been professionally cleaned & polished. They have very generously filled cushions & the leather is hand tacked on to the frame. I say the frames are mahogany, but I can't be 100% sure, because they may be walnut. These chairs are in excellent condition, strong & sturdy. They have very generous proportions & look good from all angles. I would date them to around the 1910-30's period.
