A fantastic pair of antique mahogany bedside chests in the military campaign style. They were made in England, and they date from around the 1890-1910 period.

The quality is superb, they are a very useful size and are nicely finished on the backs, so can be used as free standing items. There is high quality brass hardware throughout, which contrasts beautifully with the rich mahogany. There are military inset brass handles & brass corner fittings. The sides are panelled, they sit on sturdy solid mahogany bun feet and have lots of storage space.

We have recently had these re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age. There are various small marks and bumps here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age.
