Pair of antique Swedish mahogany armchairs with Trafalgar backs, scrolled over arms, sabre legs & some really good carvings. The styles are almost a cross over from Regency to William IV period. The carvings being typical William IV. The backs & legs are Empire or Regency, which are quite similar. Either way, they are fine quality & have generous proportions. I would date these chairs to around the 1880-90's period & they are in excellent condition. The seats have just been re-upholstered.
