Pair of Antique Swedish Satin Birch Armchairs
Pair of antique Swedish Chippendale style upholstered armchairs, with Satin Birch frames & dating from around the 1890-1910 period. These armchairs are in excellent condition, having just been polished & upholstered. The Satin Birch frames have that typical silky finish, with lighter & darker elements showing. They have bold scroll over arms, with carving below, plus gadrooned front edges between the claw & ball legs. These armchairs have generous proportions & are very comfortable.
