A pair of pedestal bedside chests of 4 graduated drawers in poplar (often mistakenly called satinwood). These chests were probably once part of a pedestal dressing table and have been converted into a very useful pair of chests to be used as bedside chests or possibly either end of a sofa. The drawers have moulded drawer fronts fitted with swan-neck handles and also moulded up the sides of the carcases
