Circa 1890, pair of bijouterie/specimen cabinets (adapted). The unusual cabinets have a glazed section on top with a simple hinged door on the side. Below the top is a pull out slide which is velvet lined and has polished glass, and the front and the fore edges are chamfered. Below is a panelled door with 3 simulated drawers. The cabinets are stained ash and have a good colour, and stand on an enclosed plinth.
