A very good pair of bedside chests (or tables) in the Queen Anne style. Of good construction in solid walnut and attractive burr walnut veneers. The tops are cross banded and the edges decorated with carved detailing. Further carving can be found to the corners and to the legs and freeze. Each chest has a series of two drawers , fitted with lovely brass handles, sitting over an open cupboard space. We have have had this pair sympathetically repolished to a very high standard and they now have a lovely depth of colour and patina. They are offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home.
