Circa 1870. A quality pair of burr walnut mid-Victorian pedestal bedside cabinets. The tops with richly figured burr walnut and simple moulded fore edge, with burr walnut frieze below. The single door with arched panel in the centre, all finished in burr walnut, as are the gables, inside each of the cabinets there is a single shelf. Beneath the doors is a simple edge and the whole piece rests on an enclosed walnut base which follows the form of the top.
