This pair of antique figurines are beautifully made. We believe them to be of German origins and to date from the late nineteenth century. They are hand-finished. There is a maker's mark to the base, but we have been unable to identify it.

Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There are some manufacturing imperfections as might be expected, and some chipping in places, including to the leaves in the basket of the female figurine. The figurines are grubby and would benefit from a careful clean. There is some wear to the paintwork in places.
