Pair of Carved Hardwood Indian Pedestals

Circa 1900, unusual pair of carved hardwood Indian pedestals. The top section has a scooped out centre, elaborate edge and carved body, and it sits in a circular section with an open fretwork gallery. Beneath this is a fluted and bulbous section with open fretwork continuing down to the base. It is on a circular raised plinth with an elaborate side and beaded edge. Both the urns have excellent colour and patination and could be made into lamps.
