A lovely pair of vintage oak single beds. We date these beds to the second half of the 20th century.

The beds each come in five sections: the head and foot boards, the side rails, a divan base and a mattress.

The bed sits on four oblong section legs.

The head and footboards are panelled and the headboards have an attractive tudor style carved scroll design on the centre panel.

The side rail supports have been dropped slightly to accommodate the divan base and mattress.

The headboards have a height of 49" (125cm), the footboards have a height of 28" (71cm), they are both 36" (92cm) wide. The overall length is 79” (201cm) and the height to the top of the mattress is 19” (49cm).

The base will support a suitable single sized mattress 75" (190cm) long by 36" (91cm) wide.

These lovely beds remain in a very good solid condition. There are some minor usage marks from past use. The beds have some wear including minor marks and scratches, some of the edges have a few indentations from past use.

This remains a very stylish and elegant pair of single beds which will continue to provide sweet repose for many years to come.
