A handsome pair of early 20th century Chinese stands. These are made from either rosewood or padouk, it hard to say as with age they become very similar in colour. These stands are strong and of a good neat size.
They stand on four slender legs all joined by shaped stretcher. They have four quality carved frieze panels depicting two dragon chasing the flaming pearl. These stands would look great in a hallway, or any room with vases or busts on them.
