A pair of mid 19th century Staffordshire Copeland & Garrett Spode comports.

The comports have a high edge, a raised rim and are marked underneath with "Copeland & Garret Late Spode" in blue and an impressed mark "Copeland & Garrett 3".

The comports are white with a blue floral decoration with a large butterfly in the centre and a background trellis decoration to the rim overlaid with flowers.

The comports are in good condition with a couple of minor firing marks underneath. (Circa 1840)
