Wonderful pair of antique leather upholstered armchairs on mahogany frames dating to around the 1910 period. They have a great shape & the deep buttoned leather is naturally distressed with a fabulous colour. They are deep buttoned on the seats, backs & arms, plus lots of tacking too. I particularly like the way the front of the seats dip down in the middle. These chairs have turned rails between the backs & seats, while the front legs are bold & well turned too. The top of the leather backs roll over, so they look good from all angles. The leather itself is all original, with no damage & full of character.
