Pair of early 19th Century Wedgwood Blue & White Plates
A good pair of Wedgwood blue and white plates in 'Absalom's Pillar' pattern. This pair of 19th Century Wedgwood plates feature a central scene showing Absalom's tower or tomb surrounded by a botanical border of crocus flowers. These antique Staffordshire plates are in excellent condition and the colour is a good mid blue, this is accurately shown in the photographs. Both plates have faint imprest marks 'Wedgwood' and the letter 'H' painted in underglaze blue. A lovely pair of early 19th Century plates to add to a collection or display on a table or dresser.
