Pair of French Louis Kingwood Marquetry Bedsides
This is a superb quality pair of French kingwood marquetry bedside antique tables, circa 1920.

This is a superb quality pair of French Louis kingwood marquetry serpentine bedside tables, circa 1920. Constructed with kingwood, these bedsides feature stunning floral marquetry to the fronts and top and a serpentine shaped front. There is a pretty shaped gallery to the top. Below, there is single dovetailed working drawer with the original metal knobs. Below the drawer there is a useful cupboard. The bedsides sit on elegant cabriole legs.
These pair of bedside antique tables would look great in a variety of rooms from the hallway, to the living room or bedroom. They have a lovely patina, which has been generated by the years of cleaning and care they have received.

Condition These bedside cabinets are in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Importantly, the bedsides are free of watermarks and ink stains to the tops. The drawers are smooth running and close flush to the frame. The dovetailed drawer linings are constructed of solid oak. Free of woodworm, solid in joint and ready to use.
