Here is a pair of superb quality antique shaped French Louis revival carved oak bedside cabinets, circa 1920, designed in the style of the Louis XV1 period. They each have moulded tops with a single working cupboard and brass turned knobs. Below, there is an elegantly shaped fielded panel working cupboard door. Each cabinet is hinged on opposite sides to so go each side of the bed with original brass shaped hinges. The fronts and sides of the cabinets boast a lovely shaped frieze and chamfered corners. The cabinets sit on cabriole legs. They have been waxed polished, which is what gives them their lovely patination and colour this has been generated by the years of cleaning and care they have received. These bedsides cabinets boast the classic French chateau styling that you see in antique furniture of this period.
These bedsides would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room to the bedroom. They would certainly grace any home and are a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.

We do not offer free delivery to locations north of Stirling in Scotland, Northern Ireland, or any British Islands off the mainland for example, the Isle of Man, Isle of White and Channel Islands. Delivery times are usually 1-4 weeks depending on location we aim to deliver the majority of items within 2 weeks. All items are professionally packaged and fully insured in transit, therefore, we can assure you, your items will be securely protected in transit and arrive safely with you.
Once you have purchased an item, we will contact you by email and/or telephone and provide you with a provisional delivery date, in order for you to confirm if it is suitable for you. Once you have confirmed you can accept delivery on the provisional delivery date, we will book the delivery in with our shippers and it then becomes a confirmed delivery date.

A free 14-day “no quibble” returns policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. Condition These bedside cabinets are in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Importantly, the bedsides tops are free of watermarks and ink stains. The doors close flush to the frame and features locking mechanisms to ensure the doors do not open of their own accord. The drawer linings are constructed of solid oak. The brass knobs and hinges are original. The cabinets stand firm on the ground and do not wobble. Free of woodworm, solid in joint and ready to use.
