These chairs have been completely reupholstered using existing springs,new webbing,original horsehair washed and reused,new calico,new hessian, new cotton wadding
They are 'as good as new ' while still being about 200 years old
They are made from rosewood which is very sought-after
The tops of the backs are lovely hand carved I have been an upholsterer for 20 years with qualifications in upholstery and soft furnishings at City&Guild level
