Circa 1830, pair of George IV Scottish Glasgow style stained beech armchairs. The chairs have a light colour, a curved top rail, cross splat and thin curved arms. The solid seat has a dipped centre, and below the seat is a frieze which follows the shape of the seat. The chairs stand on elegantly turned legs at the front and swept legs at the back. The chairs have excellent colour and condition.
